No One Talks To Me

No One Talks To Me

Jesus Talks to Sharky
He comes by in the afternoon
Jesus he brings sandwiches and coffee
They talk about this troubled world

Mary visits Sharky
They laugh about virginity
It’s always pleasant company
They talk for hours ‘bout everything

Me I just sit here
And wonder what to clean up next
I’ve made such a mess of everything
I made such a mess

No one talks to me
No one talks to me anymore
No one talks to me
No one talks to me anymore
Why should they

The angels up in heaven
They make calls on their cellular phones
They’re always calling Sharky
That’s why he’s always home

Sometimes they visit earthlings
To drop off a miracle or two
They stay for lunch on weekdays
When things are slow it’s ok to do

Me I just sit here
And wonder what to clean up next
I’ve made such a mess of everything
I made such a mess

No one talks to me
No one talks to me anymore
No one talks to me
No one talks to me anymore
Why should they
